Putting together flower arrangements at any time of year can involve imported flowers grown indoors in artificial microclimates, but for real authenticity, some seasonal blooms are definitely the way to go.
That can be challenging in winter, when only evergreens and winter pansies flourish, but it is for that very reason that spring is such a great time to gather together some glorious seasonal offerings, be they for Mother’s Day, Easter, Birthdays or a wedding.

Other options include peonies, associated with prosperity and fortune and often used at weddings for this purpose, which means they make a good option for any early wedding season nuptials.
Your choices can also focus on the blend of colours you want. Daffodils may be a must for yellow, but hyacinths are not your only blue option. There are also grape hyacinths (which despite the name are a different species) and bluebells, although some would argue the latter are more purple than blue.
In other cases, the flowers themselves offer lots of options; for instance, crocuses typically come in purple, sometimes with orange centres, but also in white and yellow varieties.
With so much choice, you have lots of options for a glorious spring flower arrangement.
